I think it is possible, I'm pretty sure the guages fit the same as type-s.

it would be weird as every bulb in the Base 3g tl lights up blue so it would look weird

The 04-06 TLs utilize a different MID system in a completely different location than on the 07-08s. No, not easily possible.
