Cracked my front bumper, Need Replacement
Sup all, last week i skid into a curb with 3-4 feet of frozen snow while making a left turn. I live in Minnesota and the weather has just been awfully terrible. I cracked the front of my front bumper and chipped the driver side of the front bumper. So to replace it, what all do i need? I have a 2004 Acura TL with a aspec kit. I'm planning to replace both the front bumper and the front lip. Also, could i use the screws and taps from my old bumper or do i need to buy new ones?

i slid into the corner of my garage and snapped my bumper in half. i also live in mn.
I hit up bloomington acura got the bumper fro 346. (rape job but i wanted it fixed asap) and took it to lemettrys to paint it, 379.
but if your lucky try johns auto parts in fridley they might have a entire lip/bumper in stock for CHEAP.

I have to get a new one this spring as well. Look at http://oemacuraparts.com/partlocator/index.cfm?siteid=214055 I believe the front bumper cover is around $215 then idk how much a paint job is.
PS. Hello fellow Minnesotan!

That's the site i'm probably going to buy from. My question is, could i use my old screws and taps from my old bumper or do i have to purchase new ones? I'm getting the bumper painted and installed at Maaco. $350 painted and installed ($296 to paint it). I'm probably going to get fog lights installed as well and change my drl bulbs in the headlights to pure white. Does anyone know what bulbs the drl takes and where i can buy them? Also for the fog lights. I'm getting the honda accord sedan ones and i am not sure what bulbs those use. Are Kaixen HiD bulbs any good for the low beams? thanks for all your help

Old screws should work fine. The tap is a plastic clip attached to the fender, for the corner screws. The other 10mm bolts and plastic clips should be good, but replacing the plastic push clips isn't uncommon.
I would get clear documentation of the Maaco work/warranty. They are known for sub-par quality. Being that's it a front bumper, it's going to get some abuse, so I would recommend keeping an eye for paint or poor prep work issues.
'04's do not have DRL's unless modified. The fog bulb in the headlight housing is 9006.

Yeah, I've heard a lot of bad things from MACCO. You get what you pay for. Go over to http://www.mnsportcompacts.net/forum/forum.php (since you're from Minnesota) and look at there vendor sub forum, they have a few places that paint stuff for members at a cheaper price.

^^^ I wouldn't go that route either.
That's an aftermarket bumper. Paying more for OEM is worth it IMO.
Also, the bumper need to be paint matched to the fenders. Not evaluating the color before selecting the color variant is just a throw of the dice. NBP is easy to match, but colors like AM are very tough to get an acceptable color match.

This happened ot me yesterday, unfortunately on an 08 TLS. Cracked the bumper cover and scratched the lower chrome piece at the grill. Luckily headlights, fot lights, etc. are fine. I want OEM parts, hopefully my 10 MPH ish impact didn't affect the cross member. Anyone know where I stand with bumper cover? Is hondapartsunlimited reliable? They list the cover for approx. $225 or so plus shipping. I'm hoping $750-$1,000 max. painted. Sucks, but I don't want the insurance surcharge, so I'm gonna pay this outa pocket...
