Couple of things...

i have looking at this thread for awhile decided to finally sign up and make a thread.

ok so i have been looking around and can not figure out how to do what i want right i need help. ok so for my intake i have seen people with and aem v2 on they're tl but aem doesn't make them, where do people get the v2 cause i have been to many auto shops and all only offer cold air.

Another thing i wanna do is get a body kit.

Been looking around and only seen aspec and ronjon body kit are there other body kits that look nice on a tl or maybe even just a lip kit for the tl.

Now fog lights, i have been to a couple shops and even acura dealership and they tell me that TL has no fog lights but then again i have seen tl with fogs.

ok and say down the road i wanna get those dual exhausts the type s has would i have to get a type s aspec body kit? i read somewhere that i would have to get a newer front bumper. and if i get this would fog lights be available.

im new to posting in this forum sorry if i posted to much or posted in wrong place i just dont want to make more then 1 post for this.

ok here we go.

aemV2 is a good intake. 24-6110c is the part number. they were actually made for Honda Accords, but they fit the TL just fine. I have one.

as for body kits, I would get the aspec. cleanest design and it's OEM...can't miss.

for fog lights, those that don't have 07-08 models usually do the accord fog light mod. do a search on the forum or google the mod. there any many DIY write ups on how to accomplish this.

as far as the quad exhaust...you have a few choices. you can get a type s bumper OR just get the type s rear aspec lip to go over your current bumper...BUT you'll have to cut up your current bumper in order to fit the quad exhaust. again, all can be found with a simple google search. little hint...use the word 'acurazine' in your search...you'll get more accurate links.

oh yeah, if you get a new front bumper for 07-08 model...it will have the fog light cut outs already there, but you'll have to purchas the bulbs/lenses/etc...so it may be easier to just do the accord fog mod.

Since your new....

1. You can get the AEM V2 from one of our vendors like Excelerate or MrHeelToe.

2. There are other kits like Versus and some Ebay ones. IMHO, stick w/ the ASPEC. I don't even think RonJon has anymore available for sale.

3. If you have an 04-06 TL, the fogs are integrated into the headlight bezel. If you have 07-08, they are in the lower grills from the factory. If you have an 04-06 TL, get the 03-05 Accord fog light kit if you want fogs in your lower grills.

4. You would need the S rear bumper to make dual exhausts work. You could possibly do some fab work on your rear bumper to make it work but getting the S bumper would be cleaner IMHO.

Couple of quick notes. Welcome to the forum. Read the 3G Service Department. Look there before starting threads. If your answer is not in there, go to google, type in whatever your looking for and put in Acurazine and you will 95% chance of getting your questions answered.

Enjoy the site.

Edit- Thanks SB.

ok about the aem v2, when i call aem they say v2 isn't made for an acura TL, does the excelerate site sell aem v2 for accord cars and then you install to tl? or is the the v2 on excelerate site just fixed up to fit on tl?

Any problems with the aem v2 intake because my brother says i shouldn't buy it because if aem says they don't make v2 and other sights say they have them then the parts they're selling could mess the engine up. If you guys say the v2 is good and reliable then ill take the chance and order from excelerate sight.

For body kits is the sarona body kit still sold i have seen online but not sure if its better to get aspec or try and get sarona. If anything i will order aspec tomorrow from dealership would that be the best place to order the kit from?

Get the aem v2.
It will work and you will love it.
Many people on here use it.

Also theres no sarona body kit. Only ron jon kits and ebay kits

DIY means Do It Yourself (ie...you can install this yourself) there are a bunch of threads that'll show you how to do it. I would link you to them, but I'm on my iPhone.

You don't need to modify anything.

PLEASE READ !

Hey man I was asking questions just like you and wondering the same thing 1 year ago.

I also told myself that I wanted the "Sarona" body kit, but after reading around I found out that THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A 'SARONA BODY KIT'

Here is a picture of what a Type-S A-Spec Lip Kit looks like. THIS IS THE Type-S. (Base model A-Spec Lip Kit looks slightly different)

Rear lip is bigger for the Type-S because the Type-S has quad exhausts and it needs to be bigger to fit the quad exhausts

The front Type-S A-Spec lip kit looks like this

The picture you see of the white Acura TL with a "Sarona" body kit is actually just a Type-S A-SPEC Lip Kit.... The only real "SARONA" part is the ROOF WING.

The only KIT for the 04-08 TL worth getting is the OEM Acura TL A-Spec LIP KIT.

ok i ordered the intake now i am still a little confused on body kit. I would rather spend the money on getting the new bumpers for the kit and exhaust then modding the stock bumpers for it.

ok just wanna make sure i got this right i have to get a new front bumper and rear bumper for type s aspec kit to fit. Then once i get the kit i could get fog lights for the new bumper. Is this right?
if so where would be the best place to buy all this all i can think of is acura dealership but thinking its to expensive there anyone know of another place to buy all of this?

^yup you need a new front bumper/front type-s aspec lip AND a new rear bumper/rear aspec lip.

again, AckTL05 is a vendor on this forum and can get you OEM parts at a good price.

also, you can sell your stock parts here on the black market to recoup some of your money.
