I know someone who went for an interview with a police chief here in north jersey last year, the chief told him: Your #1 priority if you work in my department will be to raise revenue (write tickets)

Thanks fellas...
I havent had too many bad experiences with cops. I learned that if your polite, personable, and arent driving like a complete maniac they give you a break well at least the few that Ive encountered.
Aretard is right tho, I feel safest in the middle lane it feels like I blend with traffic and am not a standout.

You got that right, my friends brother who is a NJ Trooper told me: "Stay out of the left lane, otherwise you will be a target" and I always drive in the middle lane.

Cool Story! Glad it worked out for you. Funny enough, I've never been pulled over in my 3G (knocking on wood). I did come close one day in a 35 MPH trap, but I think I was spared because the cop got another target who was going much faster than I.

I did however, get a ticket from MSP on I-95 in Baltimore in my Civic! He got me for 72 in a 55. I went to court in hopes of a PBJ, but thankfully, the trooper didn't show up.

yup....some cops are awesome and some can be really cocky....

what i realized works with them all the time is "i apologize officer, it was my fault and I will make sure it doesnt happen again"

i remember jumping a stop sign and getting pulled over....i said that line and he let me go....he didnt even take/ask for my license/registration/insurance....

A couple days ago I actually was driving from downtown Minneapolis west on 394 doing about 70 (speed limit 55) when a trooper pulls up along side of me. In the full trooper Tahoe, no undercover. First he gives me the thumps up and then proceeds to get on the loud speaker and tell me to take my radar down!! WTF I pulled it down from under the mirror, gave him a head nod and smile and he took off. As soon as he was 2 seconds a head I put the radar on the dash and it just lit up!!! Not sure what that was about.
He was driving home. He's a DWP5 trooper.
Dont Work Past 5

I have two cousins that are sherrifs in Broward County FLA. It just depends on if they got laid the night before, had a crappy morning, just got reamed by a boss, etc. Just like me at work, if someone pisses me off it usually rolls over into the next client I deal with. Cops can all be cool if you respect they are just doing their job. Dont act tough and they wont act tough........and dont have large quantities of dope in plain view
