I just read the results of Consumer Reports’ evaluation of cars (by class) for the 2004 model year.
And the winner for Upscale Sedan…. Acura TL.

This was in the April 2004 Consumer Report Annual Auto Issue. Acura TL was on cover of magazine. The traditional car magazines have not been as kind, mainly due to the FWD. They have been ranking it behind all of the RWD cars in the near-luxury category.
