WOW! Brutal ...No Acura vehicle in the whole damn list...let alone the TL...

But then it is "predicted" so no facts to back it up...

I'm happy as long as Acura isn't at the BOTTOM of the list of reliable vehicles. I'd certainly expect it to be in the upper third.

If I didn't own Toyotas before and already know how good they are, I would think TOYOTA owns Consumer Reports.

DAmn that is crazy, there are only like 2 Hondas in there too.

I've had four Toyotas. Still have two of them. Their reputation is well deserved.

I've had experience with two Honda products; my mom's 1998 Accord and my TL. Both have been exceptional and also worthy of Honda's great reputation.

For those that are interested (and since the CNN report didn't include the bad cars), here's the list of "Best" and "Worst" sedans from Consumer Reports.

Best

Lexus GS300/GS430*
Infiniti M35/M45*
Lexus IS300 (2005)
Honda Accord Hybrid*
Toyota Camry
Honda Accord 4-cyl.
Lexus LS430

Worst

Jaguar S-Type
Lincoln LS
Mercedes-Benz E-Class
Saab 9-3
Mercedes-Benz S-Class
BMW 5 Series (V8)
Audi A8
Chrysler 300 (V8)*
BMW 7 Series

Ratings for cars with an "*" are based on one year of data only. Cars with "(2005)" have been redesigned for 2006.

Although not stated, based on last year's report, I'd guess that the cars are listed with the highest ranked car first in the Best list and the lowest ranked car first in the Worst list. (Last year, the Jaguar was far and away the least reliable car.) CR will ultimately develop a graph showing how all vehicles within a specific category score. Last year, the TL was slightly above average. My guess is that won't change that much.
