Actually my grandmom subscribed to them and whenever she gets her car ones she always gives them to me. Anyway I have an older one that was from last year and until the G35 was redone the TL was in first place.

Consumer Reports is all about value. We are all aware of the pluses and minuses involved with the TL, yet it is almost unbeatable as far as overall value for money.
My favorite part of placing high on the CR sheet is the strength it gives in resale. Lots of people looking to buy late model used cars are quite well versed in the CR reviews.

Note that the Lexus ES350 scored very slightly higher. Although not in the "sporty" catagory, it is also a competitor at that "luxury sedan" price point.

It looks like the TL base, not the Type-S model, according to the price. Still I think you can't go wrong with either G35s or the TL. Depends on what's your personal preference.

How about the check with a circle to the left of the names. and the price to the right. and the reliability.
i'm happy anyways. after this, we'll see some uglier cars on the road. but that should just make our cars stand out (and look better) than every other car out there.

The rating is a drop compared to previous years, when the 3G TL was top dog in the CR ratings for its class. I think this reflects the improvements made in the current gen G35. No worries, these "doldrums" will last only until the 4G TL is released in two short years.
