Comptech Springs
Hooray, a guinea pig! Just kidding.
Seriously, let me know whether the ride improves, as I'm still on the fence about buying springs at all. If the springs improve the handling (knowing Comptech, they will), they will be mine.

Oooooh! Nice! I'm searching for some springs myself. How much of a drop do they give?
The dealer quoted me a price of 199.00. plus shipping, tax. The install price will be about 250.00. As far as camber kits, Comptech said at this point, they don`t see a need for them, but if they are required, they would be very easy to install at a later date

I don't know about Comptech. I installed the Eibach pro-kit on my TL. Lowered 1" all around. This was enough to send the rear camber out of spec. -1.8 degrees (max is -1.0). The front suspension accomodated the drop without being out of spec. Too much rear camber is good for a track situation but no for everyday driving.
The bad things about too much negative rear camber I have researched are:
1.- Increases understeer (TL is already prone to it FWD, 60/40)
2.-Increased tire wear (interior face)
I finally added the specialty products rear camber kit. Unlike the Ingalls, this product doesn't change the track dimensions. Got everything within spec once the kit was installed.
I asked the Acura service center if they compensated for camber with the a-spec kit. They didn't have an answer for me.

Comptech springs for the TSX and TL are the same springs. Some online parts stores list the prices differently with the TL costing a bit more. Comptech confirmed they are the same. Search and be advised.

I will say that I am a satisfied previous Comptech springs customer. The springs I had on my prior TL didn't require a camber kit, and I don't anticipate that this one would, either.
