I like it a lot. I dont think its overkill. I think the TL has an awkward rear bumper and its easy to see how any change to it might make it bigger, but, personally not in a negative way.

I'm not a fan of the kit itself. For me it's just too ricey but hey that's my opinion. However, RonJon definitely takes pride in his work and the quality of all his products seem to be top notch. That's where I can commend him.

I think the front mesh doesn't look to good, but most paint that part anyway. The sides look fine and if you ever see the rear in person you would really appreciate the work he put into the kit. I saw Bktl1's Ron Jon kit at a meet and was just really impressed about the work Ron put in the rear bumper.

Very good pictures of the kit in the above link.
What do you think of the RJ kit compared to the aspec? Im still trying to figure out if I like the rear bumper attatchment on the aspec as well.

Personally I like the Aspec kit better. Maybe I'm a little biased though. I dunno I just think the Aspec kit is more aggressive looking and that RonJon's kit just has way too much going on.

I like both, though I admit it took two years and a major price drop for the A-Spec body kit to appeal to me.

Aaaarrrggghhhh!
I'm a fan of the RJ kit, but don't like how the rear bumper slopes off so much in the middle. I think the best look would be the RJ Front bumper and side skirts and the A-Spec rear bumper.
As far as overkill goes, I personally disagree and think it's one of the classier aftermarket kits out there. Most aftermarket kits look too "Fast and The Furious" for me. The RJ kit looks more integrated than "added-on".

I wanted to keep the kit as classy as possible, and to tell you my opinion, any more subtle, and it would end up hard to tell the difference between OEM and RJSD. Maybe the A-Spec looks more noticeable to some becasue of the added on look with the seam, but our kit has a clean smooth look without the "added on" look. Notice that there is a balance between all the characterlines, none are too close to eachother or intersecting. I think a majority of people who don't know about the kit, but see the car would say that it looks good, but wouldn't be able to put their finger on it. Which was what i wanted to achieve. I wanted people to see a smooth hooked up TL, not just a kit:

Seriously looking in to getting this on my 05 Anthrecite but i still haven't seen one(in any color) on the road or in person... any idea where i can see one?
The other hitch is I'm getting married next year so i will have to perform some jugglery with the fiance so i can justify channeling money for this insead of my wedding fund.

Personally....I like the RJ bodykit on the 04-06 TL. The only item I wouldn't put on the vehicle or paint, is the mesh grill. I just installed the Aspec kit and I love it too, But Ron Dog is right. The RJ kit is seamless, the lines are cleaned and blend perfectly with the TL. If Ron Jon produces a kit for the RL, i'm going to purchase the kit for my new ride (RL Fall 06).

Ron did a magnificent job on the kit. It looks very classy and sleek. However, I have to agree with Scribsoft about the rear bumper sloping way too much.

I think RonJon's kit makes the TL look so much better. I totally agree with 05TLTony. The A-Spec kit looks nice too, but if money wasn't a factor, then it would be RonJon's all the way.
As a WDP owner, I just love these pics from RonJon's site. The two pictures really allows you to compare A-Spec vs RonJon's.
RJ's shouts aggressiveness with style. Now if I can only save up for the kit...

From the pics, I love it. The mesh i'd have to see close up before making a firm judgment.

I like the kit and think it makes the TL look more beefy. No doubt it took an incredible amount of time and effort to get this in the works, but I can't see spending nearly 10% of the price of the car to get one and have it painted though...
If it was close to the price of the factory underbody kit, I'd have one
