Wow. I didnt know the gallardos were that fast. I wonder what year cobra that was. Anyone seen the video some mag did with the 997T, Gallardo, and something else? The porsche walked the gallardo pretty badly

 

^ you weren't aware of Gallardo is that fast??? hahahah It's a Lamborghini my friend. You have to understand those cars are pure engine. Meaning big cylinder V12 and huge Liter that haults ass. A Cobra that gets a slight tweak in engine mod and bigger blower doesn't always mean it can out perform a Lambo. Especially on the highway when V8 goes against V12.... just plain stupidity.

Oh yeah, the Terminator owner got K-12'd (read: schooled) in those runs. Time to trade that Cobra in for a C6 Z06 FTW against a Gallardo.

 

^ yes. I have a clip of a stock 2006 C6 Zo6 in silver pulling (walking) on a stock yellow Gallardo. Then again, the zo6 is light as hell and has 505hp to back it up. Meanwhile the Cobra is way out of the lambo league.

My friend raced a gallardo a few weeks ago in his modded wrx. He never thought he'd win, just messing around. It was a total embarassment, I'm talking 7-8 lengths in a few seconds. His wrx is pushing almost 300 whp and torque, so it ain't slow, but he got smashed on.

 

Hahahaaha. I mean, I didn't think they were slow! I just didn't think they were fast enough to walk a supercharged cobra so easily. I wasnt expecting it to lose, I just wasn't expect it to be so "not a race"

 

Ummm...the Gallardo is a V10. Yes, it's damn fast and one sexy car. An 03/04 Cobra can be damn fast too with just a blower upgrade and the standard bolt-ons. We're talking 500-550whp. In a 1/4 mile race, the nod would go to the modded Cobra because there are plenty of mid and low 11 second 03/04 Cobras prowling the streets that would tear up a low to mid 12 second Gallardo.

 

Here are some Kenne Bell-equipped Cobras that would more than hand any Lambo it's booty. These are just blower swap cars with some bolt-ons.
