lookin for a place here in jersey to get my headlights cleared.

 

pm k-shawn. there is place in north jersey that most guys in this area go to. i've seen his work. they look awsome. i really want to get this done too.

 

I PM-D kshawn like a month ago, he was really cool and got back to me really fast. Unfortunately i can't say the same about the guy who did his headlight work. I e mailed him serioiusly 4 weeks ago and i never heard back from him. He does do quality work very nice, but i couldn;t get a hold of him

If you are the daring type there is a very detailed DIY on the forums, but probably is not the easiest thing in the world to do with $$$$$ headlights

IS there anybody else in jersey or NY willing to clear out headlights for a decent price

 

I met someone from this board at a meet from NJ who clears headlights.....he has his own website too. Good prices, excellent guaranteed work. Can't think of who it was offhand, he has some catchy nickname...

DIY.
put it on the oven and rip them off.
It's not that hard than you think.
I did it on my Accord. Just have some tools beforehand and do it.
Try it.

im from fort lee and i was going to do it bymyself last sunday but it was all rainy outside. didnt want to take my front bumper off in the rain. why dont you do it with me when i do mine. lets choose a day where the weather is clear.

seriously, im dying to clear my headlights out as well. so if you def. down to make an attempt.. let me know cause i got all the tools to take the bumper and lights off.

just need to clear my schedule to grab a day plus need to buy some supplies to reattach the plastic and whatever else.

those are some of the best I have seen yet. I REALLY like the body color with that RED.

 

You are gonna want to black them out. I left mine clear for a few months and really didn't like how it looked. At first I was stoked at how they turned out but it just didn't seem like it was the best possible look. I blacked them out and am much happier with the turnout.

I wanted to color match what I was painting but didn't organize the timing of everything so just used the regular gloss paint.

I want to clear out my head lights too. If any can get in tiuch with the people from Jersey or if guys in Jersey are gonna try it let me know.

 

i would love to clear my headlights but i can't be without my car, cause of work.

 

If you can devote an evening (about 4 or 5 hours) you can get it done.

Any suggestions on where I can get spray paint to match my car? the auto parts stores cannot get it, and the dealer only has little bottles for touch-up. Anthracite is not exactly a common import paint color I am finding.

-When i clear the lights I want to paint them to match.
