The bulb is amber so yes, it'll still be blinking orange unless you change that out. You can get switch backs if you want

ohh thanks for the help, im planning to do switchbacks only if its a direct fit though.. i read a thread about how people soldered it on and sounded pretty intense so let that idea go. but now im into it

^you dont need to solder anything. take old bulb out and put new bulb in. plug n play. make sure you get the resistors as well to prevent hyper flashing.

correctamundo. v2 switchbacks do that, v1's alternate amber/white when you apply the turn signal.

i got mine from v-leds for my 07 type-s.

http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/T...89718-1-2.html

make sure you also get the load resistors to prevent hyperflashing.

I don't get it. You want to clear your type-s headlights but can't you clearly see that the diffuser is clear (where the turn signal bulb is, not the corner) and that the bulb behind it is amber? lol..

Those amber pieces on the side don't block any light...

yeah cause in vancouver you have to have all the signal lights amber and i didnt know if the bulb behind the diffuser is white or orange. cause if the bulb was white and i clear it then wouldnt it blink white? and id get pulled over for that..

That's only with 04-08 base TLs; their diffusers are completely amber.
But you said you have a type-s? Type-s diffusers are clear where the bulbs blink, and have tiny amber corner pieces that don't block light. Couldn't you answer your question just by looking at it? If the diffuser is clear, and the bulb behind it is blinking amber, you can deduce that the bulb blinks amber, not white lol.

however i dont plan on using the resistors because i will be soldering the relay resistor so it looks much cleaner
