Anyone have experience (positive or negative) with Chicagoland installation? Any experience with Rick Anstadt and X-Pel?

 

I had a negative experiance in chicagoland! I lived there for 15 months while I was in the Navy and that whole area sucks. I would highly suggest moving.

 

so you moved to "beacon?" sweet. good luck with that.

 

I'm guessing that you were at Great Lakes. If you were, you were in a pretty crappy area of Chicagoland. Don't judge Chicago by one of its less than stellar suburbs.

 

He didn't ask if you liked chicago! He was asking for suggestions on a clear bra. I heard Beacon, NY was the place for ex Navy brats who couldn't handle the Navy Base at Great Lakes. Enjoy Beacon.

As far as the clear bra, I will ask my buddy who always clear bra's his car. They do good work. I'll let you know later.

 

lol...I knew I could stir up some hatred from you chicago bitches. You're right I was at Great Lakes and yes it was a dump. I did handle the Navy base..like I said for 15 months, then I went on to Georgia which was much better. So anyway, if you were offended by my comment about chicago....good

He was my installer for my headlights and fog lights. He seems to be pretty knowledgeable on the stuff.. I had a problem with the fog light material and he replaced them with no hassles...though we were both curious on why the material bubbled like that... He even put on the thicker material. He can travel to you for the installation also. I'd go back to him if I need a clear bra installed

have you gotten your clearbra installed... I am in desperate need of one. I was washing my car this weekend and noticed my first scratch from a rock.. do you have the number and how much did it cost you?

 

Rosko23, I haven't had it installed. Did receive confirmation that he has done a couple of TL's.

Rick is a greta guy and I would recommend him for the install. I have sent many customers his way. I would want to pay the XPel price for the kit, but that is something for you to decide.
