I haven't, but i doubt that its a good choice....20 dollars is way too cheap for somethin like that, and plus i dont know if you'd wanna put something thats 20 dollays and is gonna start rusting after the first rain on a 30k+ car

just my opinion

Actually $20 is twice the price what you would pay to do it yourself. It's not chrome but rather door trim or molding. Search for posts by Anthracite_Man and PeterUbers, both have made variations of this mod.

I think you find this has been covered before in other threads. You can do the exact same thing for $4. It's just chrome-look door edge molding. You can pick up two 2-foot pieces at Pep Boys or other auto parts stores for $3.99 + tax. Just cut it to the proper length with a razor blade or X-acto knife, clean the plastic grill with alchohol, and stick it on. The only tricky part is beveling the inner end. The 3M tape is double-sided, and if you're careful, you can peel a small piece off one of the scap end pieces and reuse it on the bevel cut.

TL Chrome Grills

I love the way it looks. bought it and it is great. I tried the do it yourself method but the material was garabage. I then decided to try buying the kit from ebay. I bought the following kit
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...B%3ALC%3AMT%3A1

the material is much better then what I bought and it came perfectly cut to size, my car looks great with it. Word of advice be careful when trining to do it yourself sometimes it doesn't pay

I boughgt the chrome door trim as mentioned above from wal-mart. It was about 2 dollars and cuts very easily...dont pay some clown on ebay to buy it and cut the pieces for you...you will waste 15 dollars at least....Jason
