I just got out of the phone with one of my source in Shanghai in regards to the China version Acura TL Tail Lamp. He said he can get those to me. I just like to see how many of you are interested. Price are not confirm yet because I will be dealing with 1-3 shipping company here in the state. But as far as I know the tail lamp are roughly about $369 a pair. I'm trying to get down to at LEAST $350 which including the shipping, custom, port fee and clearance fee to the state. But I have to see how much shipping will be first though.

So I might consider a group buy if there is enough interest here. As you know I did quite a number of conversion here on the forum and I charge $400 just for labor and I don't includes the part.

Below are the pictures of the actual Tail Lamp my friend took in China.

He also can get the rear side markers and the front side markers. The rear side markers in China are amber where as the US version are red. Picture and price will be in within a few days.

just got a call from my source now. Rear side markers are about $108 a pair. Not includes custom or clearance yet.

OK cool...I just want to see what is the outcome first because I'm trying to work with a logistic company here and also in China. So will keep you all updated. Price would change from day to day since the weak currency in China.

I will be in China next week for 3 weeks and also stop by my source and pick one up and do a R&D for my vehicle. I will also pick up a set of the rear side markers as well.

I thought the Asian TL was made here and exported to China.

So, wouldn't the tail lamps be outsourced and made here in the U.S.?

Are these DOT approved?

The pix of the cars waiting for export to China looked complete and finished to me.

These are only for export. Tail lamp are made here in the US but cannot be sold since it is not DOT approved.

I'm having one shipped over already should get it in a few week. I will be going to China this weekend as well to look over those tail lamps. I heard from my friend it's pretty hard to get them over.

From what I heard, when you buy your TL in china, each parts have to match up the vehicle serial number of that vehicle your brought. That is not a problem but might bet a little risky to pass custom. So my source and their shipper have a way to by pass that. Not telling you how but there is a way

Nope, those are China spec not Type S US spec.

To each is own. IMO those things are super fugly.

They sure make the US spec's look clean.
