Any one might know if i wanted to do conversion to navi? I'm sure it will cost a bunch but i want a lead.

Another cheap mod: Buying racing locks for your wheels and racing pedals off Strauss.

The sound is definitely noticeable, but in a great way. Loud when you want it to be, but quiet for normal driving when you want.

this is to help smooney and any other new comers that are reading this.

if you are interested in making your exhaust a little louder, or real louder for cheap then "Exhaust Stage Mods" are for you.

THESE STAGE MODS DO NOT INCREASE PERFORMANCE IN ANY WAY... it is only meant to give your car a mean sound. "all show, no go" if you will.

read this thread for more information. it includes videos of each stage mod to let you guestimate what it will sound like on your TL -- https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...ght=stage+mods

paint stock rims with duplicolor. Should be less than $10? Those that have done it can confirm the price. Oh and don't forget the sandpaper and index cards =)

Debadging was free, so was the ECU reset. Bought my car from my Dad who mostly used it to drive to his office and back in heavy rush hour traffic. Throttle response was really sluggish, ECU reset fixed that.

Not sure if the TL has the same type of bulky intake resonator 7th gen Accords have but removing that seemed to help from 5000 rpm up. Nothing huge, but hey, it was free.

Spray undercoating/sound deadening material into your rear fenderwells and on the trunk flooring (under the mat of course) quiet the car down and the 3-4 cans will run about $25-30.

-Mid-Muffler Delete [Stage 1 Exhaust] (~$50)
-Type-S Shift Knob ($75)
-Ebay Lip / Roof Spoiler ($50-100)
-Plastidip Emblems & Grill ($6 per can)
-Type-S Tails (~$150 but worth it)
-Front ACURA Logo Painted Inlay from Ebay ($8)
-Aluminum Pedals ($75-150)
-LEDs & Footwell Lighting ($20-100)
-Debadge / Remove Emblems (FREE)
-Nice Wash & Wax (FREE)

Cool Fog Lamp HID Conversion

Notto SE makes a complete HID conversion kit for either headlights or fog lamps. Since my headlights came stock HID on my 08' TL, I purchased the Fog Lamp conversion kit with the 3000K Yellow Blaze High Intensity Xenon Bulbs. The Headlight kit runs about 99.99 plus shipping and the Fog Lamp conversion kit runs about 89.99 plus shipping. All Kits come with
  • Complete kit contains 2 bulbs, 2 ballasts, wiring, relay harness, capacitors, hardware, and instructions
  • Light output is 3 to 4 times greater than standard halogen bulbs
  • Power consumption is 1/3 less than halogens, which also means less heat is produced
  • Bulb service life extended to 4 to 5 times the life of halogen bulbs
  • Choice of 3000K (yellow), 5000K (white), 10,000K (light blue), or 15,000K (dark blue) colors
  • HID bulbs are designed to precisely replace the original halogen bulbs
  • One Year Warranty
Check out carid.com for more cool stuff

I will post pictures after I install the lights next week.

Other good mods are to Paint the calipers with high temperature caliper paint (about 50 bucks for 2 cans of the stuff plus 2 cans of brake cleaner)
also window vents are always a nice way to dress up a car.

I'd like to add the 2013 RDX Brake Caliper Covers. A set of four runs around $50.
You can get them from PJ https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/rdx-caliper-covers-863935/

350z Jim Wolf Technology Popcharger. Only needs small amount of custom fab to work. Completely changes the growl of the intake. I was very impressed with it. Can find on forums for >$50 used or right around $100 new I think.

Yeah, to be honest I didn't even realize that until now, but yes they are on my 3G, I really like the way it looks too. Goes along with the aluminum trim in the car.
