Cheap and Easy modifications

When we finally get the car I would like to spend 20-50 bucks here and there to make the car look nice. For example Blue LED interior lighting. Bluer headlights, better reverse lights, PIAA wipers. Headligh clearing or darkening. People who have done that type of stuff feel free to post it with instructions and pics. This is for everyones benefit. Running lights would also be nice to see.

$20-$50...

But the Rear swaybar seems to be the good choice if you're willing to spend a little more...

just installed it yesterday.... wish i had taken it to a parking lot or something so that i can see how drastic the change was.....

but even though i didn't, i know it changed a lot. the car drives so much better and takes turn with significantly less body roll.

Alright......heres what you do drive to a corner and turn the car. The car will sway especially at a higher speed. A Sway bar is really a anti-sway bar, but for short name sake everyone calls it a sway bar. It bolts on by your axles, and it is a bar that runs from the left side and right side, there is a front and a rear. If you put on a eibach or a comptech...etc.... then these will make your car stiffer and sway less. Got it? Cause i just ordered an eibach system and getting it in friday. Pretty easy to install i here

So is that is something anyone with a good wrench set can bolt on in their driveway? Also, are there any draw backs? Last, how much do those end up costing. if its only 1 or 2 hundred I would prolly get it.

I have a few questions since you’re having the Comptech anti sway bar installed in your car:
1) Is the handling vastly improves with the Comptech versus the stock bar or only small changes?
2) What is the weight different between the Comptech versus the stock bar? Is it significant to the point that it’d reduce the performance?
3) Would you please post the instruction on how to install the Comptech unit? – I’d like to check it out before making the purchase.

Thanks in advance…

I don't have Comptech swaybar installed yet, but it would be installed onto my car soon...

If you search, there would be dozens of threads talking about that product. Also, the Garage has collected a few of DIYs threads, too.
