Which CF Knob Is Best?

I want to get a CF ball style shift knob for my car and I have a couple options. My stock knob is all scratched up and is , to me, not very comfortable to use. Tell me which do you like?

Option 1)

Option 2)

Option 3)

Option 4) I thought this was interesting.

I think I like #3 the best. What do you think?

Make sure what ever you get it has metal thread and not the plastic threads.. the plastic threads tend to get messed up over time and tend to get loose..

Here is another one.I am kinda digging this one over the NRG cause the CF looks better... www.amazon.com/Vibrant-2032-Carbon-Fiber-Shift/dp/B000E3ZN8M

Option 1... It's on ebay and can't link it from work. But search for "Acura TL Carbon Fiber knob" And you'll be able to find it.

Option 2... http://shop.vendio.com/crowderscusto...351/index.html

option 3... http://shop.vendio.com/crowderscusto...962/index.html

option 4... http://www.amazon.com/Pilot-Automoti.../dp/B001O1ZSKG

Yeah. What Jared said. They are all universal so they will be plastic threads.

This is what I went with. There is enough "bounce" in the boot that it pushes against the bottom of the knob. It actually doesn't look that bad to me. I really like the ball shifter versus the oem shaped shifter. The threads are actually threaded into the black base and is not a sleeved adapter. And no allen bolt or wrench included cause it doesn't need it. This is like an $80 knob and I got it from amazon for $50. Makes sense that it would cost more. You don't have to fiddle with any silly adapters or allen bolts getting loose over time.

More stuff to consider (from Momo):

I've got this one. Good match to the OE Carbon Fiber trim (and it's WAY better than OEM ) :

I actually looked at that one. I thought it looked cool, but it wasn't real carbon fiber. You're right that it would match the oem interior cf design. I however plan to cover that trim with real carbon fiber.

I like the CF look but that knob looks huge and like it sits higher than stock one. It doesn't look all that nice at all to me sorry, but it may be the pictures that make it look like that.

Dunno never been a fan of cf knobs on manual cars...I like weighted knobs. Autos dont really care. But I would go with the 4th one. Any pics of the 4th one installed on a vehicle?

I've got this one, except for the non-carbon fiber version. It's a nice compliment to the carbon fiber.

It's definitley lighter than the oem shifter. It really isn't any higher than the stock knob. The bottom of the new knob actually pushes the boot down lower. That's probably why it looks like it sits higher. I think it is a good size ball. Feels good when I grab it.

as long as you like it. But going lighter than the OEM knob on a MT is a little weird. I love the feel of the weighted knob on the MT, so I would only go with heavier.

Getting rid of the OEM knob is one of the first things I did because I felt like the OEM carbon fiber "weave" is very dark and difficult to see-unless you're in direct sunlight.

NC, I can tell you that I really like the Momo shift knob. It's a little dicey on the install, but I promise you that you'll be very happy with it.
