Cargo Net & Liner

Can the cargo net be used if you also have the plastic cargo liner? If so, how do you attach the net?

If you can still see the round knobs on the sides- you can hook the net there

Figuring out how to rig up the "small" net is the real stumper.

I spent a good 15-20 minutes futzing around with it until I figured out a configuration I could live with (and I'm still not convinced it's "right")

Do a search for "cargo nets trunk tray" to find the thread-- someone discovered that you don't need to cut any holes in the liner bottom for the nets, although some people did (I don't have the trunk tray, so i couldn't tell you from experience).

It was; I found the thread that had pictures of the cargo net setups which helped a lot. The small net should section off the corner of the trunk and have a small suspended triangular pocket.

Same questions from me when I first got my TL. You don't have to cut your tray for the net knobs.........

Unscrew the floor ones - place cargo net back on top - screw floor nuts back on making a small hole in the liner with the screw head.

The only sucky thing is that you have to unscrew the floor nuts if you ever want to remove it to clean or vacuum.

The small net can go a couple of different ways - it's one of those things that you just have to keep on trying until you get it right or wrong...lol

As far as the trunk tray. Just cut a small + in the spot that the net hold downs need to poke through. Then just push the tray down over the "mushrooms" and they popup thru the small cuts you made.

Much easier to unscrew the nuts and screw them back in through the tray.....................the hole gets sealed when you screw the nut back on.

If anything should leak in the tray it will most likely leak through the + you made
