Actually.....I spent what would have been racing time learning how to use the language correctly.

Hot blonde soccer mom in a Honda Minivan -- Another mom in a Yukon Denali. These have been my highlight races in the whole 300 miles I have on my vehicle.

I think TL, CL-TYPE S, G35/G35 coupe, and 330i/330Ci are just too close to tell the difference.

I would agree except for the 330. No competition unless he catches you sleeping.

Keep in mind that the hole shot is everything in this class. If you give up (or gain) a half second, the race is over.

You can sometimes sucker a faster car by getting him to give you two car lengths' head start. It is extremely hard to make that up. That's more than a second. Since it is hardly more than a second separating a TL from a Corvette (0-60), you can see the point.

Another old trick is to get a couple of car lengths head start and then say, "I am only going to 60 and then shutting down. I don't want to crash or get arrested." After you agree on that, you are of course in the lead and when you see the faster car's nose coming up to your door, you shut down harshly (even if you're only doing 55). Then you say- "Hey! I hit 60 and shut it down like I told you I would. I win. If you want to race to 100, we'll have to do it another time and a safer place."

I can't believe I'm dissemminating cheap racing tricks to corrupt another generation of motor heads! Shame on me!

I don't race my car either, but if I did, I'd buy a car built for racing, and not ruin a good luxury sedan street racing. Also, spend some time improving your typing skills rather than worrying about the cars other people are racing.

I had a CL Type S on my ass coming out of a NJ Turnpike plaza. Although I couldn't shake him, he couldn't catch me either.

I'm not sure I understand the question, or why "I do not race" is not an option on this ridiculous poll.

Once (many moons ago), I used to own a 5 litre Mustang GT. It could pass just about anything - except a gas station . Now, in my TL, I'm into the cush factor - with the extra horses to get me out of a tight situation when I need it!

Instead of racing our cars, (by the way, I have beaten the neon SRT4 0-100, but not by much! I thought they were as fast as WRX?) why don't we race and see how fast we can type......but you have to be accurate, so you're automatically disqualified.

Give the kid a break!

Not to be a goody two-shoes, but lighten up on the kid.

It could be that English is not his primary language. At least he's trying. Let's not discourage him. The only way to get better is to practice. And what a better venue than here where we all share an interest.

So put the claws away, people. I remember the story of a lady buying a chicken at the butcher shop. She was picking up each one and spinning it around close to her nose while she smelled it from every possible angle. Finally, the butcher said to her, "Lady! Could you pass a test like that?"
