Car experts, please help me!

My Vin # is 21xxx with older version of Bridgestone tires. I've noticed that when I slow down to stop at red lights, my car doesn't stay straight before complete stop-it feels like the front wheels can't make up their minds and move toward left (more oftern) and right. Is this normal? I am not making any hard stops.

Thanks!

Sounds odd. You should take it to the dealer. Why ask for anonymous opinions?

Mine did that a little and I had the dealer align the car and he cross rotated (swapped fronts) and it went away. The suspension and sterring in the TL seem very sensitive to this even if you hit abump as braking. I think this is more a FWD issue, but never had it so much on my other cars.

Thanks. I still have a flatspotting issue (yes even this morning and the weather was nice) which I want to take care of along with the above issue. Well, now that I've been an owner of TL for more than three months and know a bit more about the car, I have a feeling that I am being treated like a second class citizen mainly because I bought my car in NJ and I live in MD (local dealers don't really want to deal with me). Oh, well.

That's not right. They should treat you like a king. Seriously, they should be trying to earn your next purchase. I hate bad dealers!

This could also be described as "tramlining". The tire follows the valleys of the road frequently found at intersections where cars sit at lights / stop signs. The more a high perf tire wears, the more they tend to tramline.

Novice,

I got my TL in NJ and had to take it in for a HFL booting issue. Pohanka was real outgoing and didn't seem to care that I didn't buy the car from them. Even offered me a rental car to drive until the HFL module came in, I of course declined that offer.

Let me know how the MD dealers treat you so I can avoid them.

My MDX does that all the time with the summers wheels on. Didn"t know there was an offical name for it.

Thanks, criss. Rosenthal was not so bad except when I asked for newer tires, they never returned my call (after 1.5 months)! They have so many cars therre and haven't failed to get me a loaner, etc.
