For the benefit of everyone I have posted the following:
What brand is best for each of the following uses?
1. Car waxing(chemical and pads):
2. Glass Cleaning:
3. Vinyl Cleaning:
4. Leather treatment:
5. Rims:
6. Tires(to make them look wet):

I am looking for what works best for each category
Also, feel free to add a category I forgot.

 

These are my ultimate favorites:
Wax - Pinnacle Souveran ( around $65 for an 8oz jar )
Glass cleaning - Any cleaner that does NOT contain amonia
Vinyl cleaning - Vinylex by Lexol
Leather treatment - Lexol
Alloys - Plain water and the Pinnacle shampoo I use to wash the car
Tires - Wolfgang black diamond tire gel
*Living in sunny C.A. I also need to protect my eyeballs ( headlights ) from those darn UV rays...so I slap on some Merguiar's #10 & #17 plastic care every week during the summer. This fights the fading/yellowing of headlights.

 

This are the products I am currently using:
Wax - FourStar UPP
Glass cleaning - Stoners Invisible Glass
Vinyl cleaning - Aerospace 303
Leather treatment - Megs Gold Class
Alloys - Megs Hot Wheels Cleaner
Tires - Megs Hot Shine
Also added:
Clay Bar: Clay Magic/FourStar Ultimate
Polish: Klasse AIO/Fourstar UPC
MF towels and a wool/sheepskin washmit.

The Stoners and Megs can be purchased @ AutoZone and Pep Boys. The other products are from online sites like Exceldetail, Proper Auto Care, Premium AutoCare and other auto detail sites. For MF products, recommend Exceldetail or PakShak. Hope this helps.

Wax - Turtle wax (less than $5 per bottle)
Glass cleaning - Invisible glass (bought at costco)
Vinyl cleaning - arm and hammer (? don't quote me on this)
Leather treatment - Eagle one leather conditioner ($8.99 CDN)
Alloys - Orange agent rim cleaner ($6.99 CDN)
Tires - Turtle wax wet n black ($7.99 CDN)
