ive searched about 30 pgs of threads and i cant find the diy for how to do the resistors, and wiring for the front turning signals can someone please help me out.... thanks in advance
Here is the one I followed
https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/possible-better-resistors-turn-signals-633169/
I think the other one you are thinking of is in the huge LED thread.

OMFG! I'm a GIRL....why cant you people get this???? lol, kidding
anyways, yea, same way but you shouldn't need the those blue t taps in the pics, I just have the fold over clip wire tap things, I like those better, I think some came with the resistors right?

i know i know, ur a girl....lol, yea the blue clip over ones came with the resistors, so do the wires go through the holes or go along the top and the cover clamps down on them
there should be a slot the wires fit in, then the cover clamps down on them. There should be a metal piece there, make sure it goes all the way through the wires and it is clamped all the way down.

ok thanks carrie, so basically just lay the wires on top of the blue clip where the metal piece is, and not through the holes..

Not that hard, in the blue tap you will see two "grooves" one goes all the way through, and one terminates after the silver press down tab. Take the wire from the vehicle, and lay it in the "groove" that goes all the way through. Take the wire that comes from the resistor lay that in the "groove" that doesnt go all the way through. Close the cover and press the metal tab down with pliers, than just close the other cover, and your done.
Simple enough? May help in understanding if you have the connector in hand when trying to comprehend all this

I think he is referencing the "holes" as the "grooves" that we talk about, because when the cover is closed it does look like a hole

i found this pdf, its basically a picture reference
but on it, it looks like the wires are goin through the holes, but i see the grooves that you're references to that made into the flap of the blue cap
so if im not mistaken, the wires go in between the flap and lay on top of the metal thing that will splice the wires?

Dude, like I told you, look at the connector itself before you assume anything. The connector is a 3 part thing, you have the bottom base where the wires lie. You have a middle cover that contains the metal splice which you will use pliers to cut into the wires, and then you have a top cover to cover up the metal splice.

yo my man, im not trying to irritate you or anything im just trying to make sure im doing it correctly. the link i posted is to the exact blue clips that i have and im looking at the clips right now in front of me. i see the grooves that you're talking about though but heres a pic so tht way everything can be clarified

No worries man, not irritated, its actually better that you did post a pic. See that top section where you labeled "here" is actually the cover which will be closed after you press down that metal tab.
You want to stick the wire into the bottom "here" but look on the other side, is there two holes? If so you want to stick the wire from the car into the hole that goes all the way through, and stick the wire from the resistor into the hole that does not go all the way through.
make sense?
