You can do anything you want as long as you have enough money to do the conversion. I had a right hand drive car in the US and let me tell you, it was not easy to get it insured. If you did the conversion and then were in an accident, the insurance company probably wouldn't fix it the way it was modded, IMHO. Unless of course you had a "rider" on the policy to cover it?
^ Duh but RHC has been done. I am trying to remember this one particular shop we go to once in awhile for my boss.
However, I wouldnt bother to do this; just answering OP question.

OP, the Fast-and-Furious, JDM-rules craze of the early 2000s had passed. Might have been cool back in the day on a Civic but this day and age on mid-luxury sedan?? you won't win any style points and you might SAY you're only doing it for yourself but come on, nobody's gonna spend that much and not want people to look at it.
Assuming you're asking because you want to do this to your car...
OP save yourself a head ache. A RHD in the US will be the worst inconvenient mod you could do.
Every aspect of daily car life is built around being on the left side of the car.
Here's some things to think about: Drive-trus, Drive-ins, Bank tellers, ATMs, Toll Booths, etc. You're going to inconvenience yourself and probably other people.
Unless you plan to deliver mail for the post office I wouldn't bother.

I guess my brain just doesn't work that way and it never will. I drove in England and it was one of the hardest things I've ever done. I spent a lot of time in Greece and that was awesome, left hand drive, right side of the street and as long as you're driving as if you're racing everyone and everything you're doing fine.
