Looking to get some extra hp, can I use cams from any j35? Or even cams from a j37? Thanks in advance

 

pretty sure this has been covered... but I'll chime in

From what I understand same gen for same gen should interchange.

RL and TLS are best oem for 2nd gen J35. RL slightly better than TLS.

1st gen eng can fit 2nd gen cams with P2R spacer. Such as 05 RL cams in J32A2, which is what I have planned.

Not sure if j37 can go in 2nd gen, maybe search that.

More senior members, did I get any of that wrong?

 

I'm selling a pair of J35A8 cams, should you decide to go that way.

 

Im selling a set of TL-S cams as well if you want a set.

 

RL cams or type s? Do I need anything else to switch cams? And how much?

 

Type-S cams. I don't think anything additional is needed, although I have some J35A8 heads, too. Asking $130 for the cams, plus shipping.
