Camel...Orange fruit?

I see topics about the camel interior being too orange and not too orange. Now i'm curious. I never seen the camel interior before so I have no idea how it looks like. Every time I see the topic I just picture orange peel color on the seats.
Can someone please post pictures of how it looks like?

It looks like an orange peel.

Haha No.. it looks classy especially when mixed with an ebony exterior in my opinion!

There has been a lot of talk lately that the orange in the camel has been toned down quite a bit. I drove over on Sunday and looked and low and behold I looked into a Anthra/camel and had to agree. But then I looked into another and it looked orange and it had a HIGHER vin# so now I don't know what to think. I walked back and forth and considered that maybe it was the lighting. The original camels I saw looked quite orange to me. I will try to post a picture here but the old way (gallery) of posting is gone. The picture was from car spy.com or something like that and had pics of one of the first TLs rolling off the truck (inside and out). Anyone remember the link??

It's not orange. I'd call it more of a tangerine or kumquat

I just picked up my TL this week, and one of the main reasons I bought the car was because I absolutely loved the interior color (camel, of course!). It is very luxurious looking, and fairly unique. Most cars with "tan" interior have much less tone in the leather, and they're way more bland looking. I refused to buy any TL without a camel interior. But I did have a hard time deciding on the exterior, however. I finally chose Blue Abyss Pearl over Nighthawk Black.

My WDP car is supposed to be built as we speak and I STILL
wouldn't mind a NPB/Camel. That was my original choice.
Maybe I'll call to see if he has one..

If anything, the Camel could be accused of having a YELLOW tint more so than an orange one. To me, though, it's a natural earth-tone look.

The bottom line is that some of us LOVE this interior and others hate it. So be it, Jedi.

I can't, but hopefully someone else can. That may help you A LITTLE.

But really, you've got to see it in person to decide. If you're like me, you won't hesitate to say, "I want that color." You may also be one of those who goes, "Ewww, what was Acura thinking?"

I owned a black 350Z with their burnt orange interior. The camel interior I have in my TL is nowhere near that color. In comparison, the camel is tannish.

Had a rare chance to ride in a 745li and a 911 over the past two days. The camel-orange-what ever you want to call it was exactly what these cars had for interior color (except for the holes). I think it is great
