bye bye TL.....hello M-35AWD

it's been almost a year since i lost an interest in my TL and i finally decided to trade it in for infiniti M35AWD......
couple reasons why i wanted to trade in my 05 TL

1. too many TLs these days....for real its like everyone has a TL.......
2. wanted a all-wheel drive
3. wanted the extra features such as start/stop button, ventilated seats, adaptive front lights, rear view camera....etc.....
4. just wanted a new car

so i first took it to acura dealer where i got it from the they were just unwilling to give me any kind of deal ( i am currently under a lease (42 year lease with 18 months to go)......wanted me to pay the $7500 difference of car's worth and what they were willing to pay me......so i walked out of there......

next i went to infiniti dealer, and the salesman was really "nice" and eager to do business with me and after hours of crunching numbers and agony, i finally arrived at a deal of $3000 down and $700 lease for 27 month lease for infiniti m35awd with tech package......(plus they bought the TL)....left security deposit and will pick it up tomm.....

so just wanted to say thank you for all your help over past 2 years and truly this website is one of the best car forum sites on the web right now......

good luck to you all!!!!!

Good luck with the M35. It is a great car, but IMHO infiniti really is falling behind styling compare to the Acura.

Exactly what my cousin in central CT did last year, except he went for an M45....for sjkforever's reasons 2 and 3. Traded in his '04 6MT with Nav (yes, there were 2 in da family). I was stupified when he told me!

Wow, a 42 year lease? J/K, I'm sure that was a typo! Congrats on the new M35! We considered the G35 before getting the TL, but my wife didn't want RWD (it scares her in the snow) and I didn't want to fork out the extra for AWD, so the TL was an excellent compromise for us! I do wish it had the ventilated front seats and adaptive headlights! ENJOY!!!

I had the same car on my short list. I wanted the AWD for when I move to N. TX, next 18 months. Seems like a fine car, I didn't really like the dash and the nearest dealer for service was to far. Good luck.

Yes congrats on da new M35x.

But how much more was the M45?

Well remember that the 3G TL is already in it's 3rd / 4th yr right?

Which is the reason why you see so many around. Not to mention that it is a fantastic vehicle.

In my area, i've seen plenty of M35 / M45s as well. When you see ppl driving around in your car, are you gonna trade it in again?

I still prefer the TL's styling over many of the newer cars these days.

I can only imagine just how good the 4th gen TL will look and how much power it will push out.

Anyways....congrats on the new vehicle. By the way..how old are you?

To each his own. The M is in a different class than the TL. I don't have much experience w/ Infiniti but I do love their commercials. Anyways, hope you enjoy your purchase. But I think two to three years from now you'll probably be making another switch when the new TL/TSX/RL comes out

Why didn't you just get the new 07 G35x instead? It's faster and has a nicer interior than the M35x and it's closer to the TL in terms of price and size.

M35x is nicer overall than the G35x and is MUCH roomier...the G just has more power (for now)

well, i wanted to "upgrade" to the next level of cars....and i was lookin into RL, M and GS.........Acura wouldn't give me a deal that i wanted, Lexus was very willing to make the deal happen but they wanted almost 800 a month for a 36 month lease with 15k on it........at the end, infiniti offered me a better deal with more mileage (18k/yr) with a shorter lease term (27 months)......
i ended up getting M35 AWD with advance technology and will pick up this wednesday...!!!!

Great car. I have the same car for sale right now, but great car.

I hope Acura starts putting ventilated seats in their cars at some point. Specifically in the TL.

The adaptive headlights are cool and the grid on the street with the back-up camera is awesome.

Hi, find a better deal, you are getting ripped! I just got off lease the fx35 loaded with every option possible for 360 a month with 1800 out of pocket 12k lease. For 700 I can put you in an e550! Or 545i

I don't want to be a party pooper, its a great car, the exhaust is very tiresome. Get a good deal. Don't rush!

Good luck
