hey guys i have 07 wdp type s and was wondering if the back bumper is a different shade of white then the rest of the car. Im figuring the owner before me mustve painted it over. let me know thanks.

Yes, WDP and SSM are notorious for having their bumpers a different shade.

Most of the mismatches I see appear to be darker than the body.

 

Yea we all wdp owners have this issue..im going to fix the issue very soon since im painting my car over again. But believe me im a painter and ive seen new cars with mismatching colors.

 

I think all TL's except NBP have this issue ... my CBP is slightly a different color as well

 

A slight mismatch that is not immediately noticeable is within auto industry standards for bumper to adjacent parts. The WDP pearl issue is clearly NOT within that standard, but Honda does have a low standard when it comes to paint.

 

NBP has this issue. its just very very hard to tell. i can see it but it has to be in the right light.

 

the other day someone hit my car while it was parked so now i have an excuse to paint the bumper the same color as the rest of the car...its gonna run me 750 though

 

+1, my AM lip kit looks, alil bit off, but maybe becuz of the lighting effect of the lip kit.
