Modding Opinions Needed

Hi Guy,

I just bought a KBP 2008 Acura TL-S a couple days ago and wanted to do a couple lighting mods. The first thing I want to do is change all the interior lighting. I searched and read through alot of threads and realize that LEDs are the best bet, but I wanted to get people's opinion on what color I should do. At first, I was thinking blue because it would match with the color of the car, but after seeing all the interior buttons and gages being red, would it be better to do red lights inside. But then would it look good with reds light inside with a KBP car. Any opinions will be great and thanks for anyone that helps out.

I had that same problem when I switched my LEDs. I went with white as well. My winning arguement was that the red LEDs won't work when you actually need to read something in the dark, plus they won't look good from the outside because the car is blue...hope this helps.

White LEDs are always win. I put blue LEDs in my doors and then white in the map and dome light. It looks good IMO also a good contrast.

V-LEDs.

I have these in my plate and also in my girl's car.

^ Put those in your front and rear map and also your plate.

These are good for the doors.

Again, what will YOU like best?

Everyone here will post their own opinions about what they think will look best like red, white, blue, etc.. you will get various answers. But if you don't like it, their opinions are pointless.

Saying that, in my opinion, with a blue tls, I honestly think blue or white would be best, the red for some reason would look .. not right. But again, that is my opinion.

Plus, search the forums here because members have posted their interior LED mods and I know I've seen whites and blues and reds.

I use an LED board and they are $10 each. Light up the inside just like it was day time. I have spent a lot of money on bulbs and they are never bright.

Why blue lights in the door. I'd put red to match the interior lighting. I think they would be odd, being the only blue lights IMO.
