British Columbians... need info

Hey all, I've done some searching up on the ICBC website, and no luck at all finding the info I need. All I need to know is if there is any type of policy regarding the front license plate of a vehicle in BC. I've heard/read somewhere sometime ago that as long as you were issued a front plate, you are required to mount it. But seeing many people not mounting their plates up front over the past few months, it makes me wonder. Is this policy actually in effect or is it just that they(ICBC/police) don't really care?

oh that sucks in BC, Alberta want's to bring in that shit that we have to have front plates now. No front plate ever made the car look good, unless off course it's a EURO plate but it don't go too well with Acuras

Yes its in effect ... I got busted for it last summer and even having the front plate displayed on the dash wasn't good enough ... I was told it had to be "afixed" to the front of the car.

Right now I am working on a system where I can flip the front plate down out of site when at shows and up for the highway.

I never seem to get busted in town where I live .. just out of town .. usually small towns like Cranbrook or Grand Forks where the car isn't known and stands out.

If it works out I'll post the DIY.

^ You are correct.
I also got a ticket for having it on the dashboard.

I really wanna see huynh's car with the ATLP quads.. never seen one around Vancouver.

If you don't like the plate covering the "Acura" on the front bumper, best alternative is to buy a skidplate (license plate relocator) which goes onto your tow hook.

Naw, It wouldn't be me, cause I live in Surrey. I've seen quite a few nicely modded TL's down here, but can't seem to find the owners on acurazine... lol

Not going to happen, IMO the side mount makes the entire thing not very balanced... the only car in my opinion that would look good with a side plate is my beloved CT9A
