Brakes Install: How much?

Guys,

I just picked up some rotors and pads, both F&R. We started installing them but the rotor screws stripped real easy on the first (real soft). Anyhoo, we're going to make another attempt tonight after making a run to sears for some applicable tools, but I'm exploring the wuss way out.

How much do you guys usually pay or expect to pay for your TL provided you have all the parts?

Thanks!
Collin

Good to know. I need some new rotors and pads and I don't have the time nor feel like doing it myself. Thanks.

I don't know what you meant by "applicable tools," but you can easily drill the heads off those screws.

I wanted to torque the lugs correctly we I picked that wrench up. Also was thinking of getting an impact driver. Thanks for the advice, I guess we could drill it out.

well u can kill the screws with a drill n then remove em by hand once the head is stripped off.....or u can get the tool that removes them from any autoparts store.... it looks like a centerpunch and it has a philips head at the end of it n then put new screws in =) but you really dont need the screws there i dont even have them installed on mine

Thanks for the advice guys. Slightly off topic I was going to do it tonight, but I took my TL in for some warranty repairs (minor). They didn't finish in time and so I have an RDX.

I'm not gonna lie, this thing is kinda sweet. Plenty fast for a truck-ish ride and even corners like a beast.

Drill out the screws, you don't need them. Its a pretty easy process, save your money and buy the tools to do it yourself!
