brake pedal vibration

First time in the forum. I've had a 05 AT for about a month now and have found very useful information in the forum.

When I brake over rough pavement I feel a vibration in the brake pedal that does not seem normal. It is definitely not the ABS, not a pulsating movement, but a vibration. Any of you gentlemen have experienced this? Thanks.

might be a warped rotor ...since u said when u brake over rough pavement, im assuming you were going at a speed over 10mph and ABS check is done.

I've had warped rotors before and know how it feels on the pedal. This is different. I have an appointment to balance the tires and will mention it to the service manager.
Thanks a lot

I do have the same issue. While driving through the uneven surface of roads, I could feel and hear this "pulsation" if taking a normal brake. My 94 Legend had the same issue. I always think it's NORMAL, but it's hard to explain WHY. IMO. Maybe I'm wrong for the past 11 years.

I feel it too on irregular terrain. My 2002 TL did this too, so I'm assuming it's normal. You're right, it's not at all like warped rotors.

Yup, I've got it too..... We have a drive leading to my apt complex made of fancy shmancy brick and during hard stops (such as people driving out in front of me) it feels just like the ABS engaging (but it isn't)....
