Whats up everyone iam new to the forum, I have a NBP,6MT,04, Tl for about a month now with 2650 miles. I wanted to know if any other TL's out there have this wierd noise that iam hearing , when the car has been off an started up an put into 1st gear and starts moveing i hear the little like thump that i kinda feel if my foot is on the brake peddal, but only for a second then goes away. I dont know if the is normal should i take it back to the dealer? its been happening since i got the car. But other then that i Love the TL .

 

There is a normal ABS check that occurs at about 10 mph after the car has been sitting a while. That's probably what you are feeling. There are a bunch of other threads about it.

 

welcome: Aegir is correct. This is you ABS system adjusting itself. i dont know the exact time frame it needs to be without driving..But if u notice every morning you will notice this.

 

Welcome to the club. Based on what you described above, I'd tell you the same thing as Aegir & GunnmeTaLCURA04 has said. My old car will give me this "thump" noise, sometimes parking after 5 mins or overnight.
