Bought my first TL!!!

I got tired of driving my 91 geo metro and decided it was time for an upgrade. 2004 TL with 104,000. I LOVE it!!! It's been a rough first month with it. It came with a nail in one tire. It went flat on the side of the interstate. That is when I found out the car did not come with the key for the lock nut, a jack or a good spare tire. Thankfully the purchase came with a free year of roadside assistance so that's take care of. I still need to get a jack and spare though.
I also need to replace the o-ring on the power steering inlet, but that looks easy enough. I still love the car though and happy to have found a good online forum!!!

From a Geo? I think that's the biggest upgrade we've had here in a while! I hope your ownership experience gets better from here on out

Congrats on your upgrade. Might wanna look into the 105K service (Timing Belt and stuff) to see if its been done. If not and being at 104k that could be trouble.

OF THE G G G GEOOOOOOOOOO

Congrats!

If you got the car from an Acura dealer as CPO, you should get the jack, compact spare and locking lug nut key as part of the deal.

Also, the power steering hose (and inlet o-ring) were a recall item, so they will both be replaced for free regardless of mileage by an Acura service dept. if the recall was not previously done.

Welcome to AZ.

I fixed the power steering whine ready enough and realized the hydraulic hood lifters need replacing. That'll be next on the repair list. I'll post pics when I get home.
