It wont be in until January, but she's mine! Anthracite with Ebony interior and Navi. I test drove their demo Friday night and I was very surprised with the amount of power it had (I am coming from an '00 Corvette). I was just completely impressed with the look and feel of the car. And boy oh boy, those HIDS are NICE!!

I cant wait to take possession in a few weeks... it is going to be a hard wait!


Also, anyone know of someone interested in a '00 Magnetic Red Coupe, 36,300 miles in GREAT condition!

I kwow the Corvette is faster but how does the TL compare to the vette as far as accelaration. You say you were pretty surprised.

Congratulations, and welcome to the forum. You have selected a great car.

 

It doesnt have the same "kick you in your seat" punch, but I must say that the TL does not dissappoint me in acceleration. On the Demo I drove around (it had about 5000 miles on it) when I did punch it there was a little torque steer, but it really seemed to get up to speed quickly. For a car that weights more and has a 80HP disadvantage it is really impressive and certainly makes the transition from the Vette a much easier one. The biggest difference (in my limited time behind the wheel of the TL) is the acceleration at highway speeds... this is where the biggest difference between the 2 cars is noticed. I will be able to give a better impression once I take delivery and get a week or so behind the wheel.

The interior of these cars is top notch. I cant wait to get my LG 325 working with the HFL... that is a great feature!! Acura really has a winner on its hands with the TL!!
