Body Shops in Long Island
I have a 2005 Silver TL with Nav. I bought it pre-owned with only 10,000 miles and the car has been great, considering I got it for such a good deal. The only problem with a light scratch on the drivers side door. Does anyone know of any body shops in Nassau County, Long Island or that vicinity that would be able to fix this and match up the paint. Any info. would be great.

i had to get my quarter panel repainted, and i went to a shop named finish line collision. Its in valley stream off of merrick road. A few blocks away from valley stream acura actually.
They did a good job, no one can tell the car got hit where it did, they all thinks its my bumper that got repainted .. lol damn bumper discoloratoin.

Great Body Work
I ended up taking my TL to Ace Collision and Towing in Plainview, NY, which was recommended to me by one of the Acura dealerships in Long Island. The dealership told me that was where they send their Acuras for body work. I dealt with one of the owners named Bob who actually showed me that someone had scraped up the side of my car and repainted it poorly prior to returning it to the dealer. There were some paint bubbles on parts of the door that I never noticed because my focus was always on the big scratch on both doors. In three days, Ace Collision completely fixed the whole side of the car and matched the paint perfectly, it looks brand new. They even washed and detailed the interior and exterior prior to me picking the car up today. Also, I was charged exactly what I was quoted. I would highly recommend this place if anyone needs any body work done on their TL.
