BMW clone

I thought this was funny and worth a post... was pulling up to a red light when I saw a black tinted BMW with an M3 badge on the rear already at stopped at the light... I said oh boy guess I won't be trying anything... but as I closer I notice it was nothing more than a 99 323is....he even had the stock 15s that come on that car. It had nothing on it but the badge I could see through the tint that it was a young kid with his hat turned back dreaming he was driving an M3...I was in a very nice (weathly) neighborhood and thought it was funny that even rich kids rice up there car. It just happens to be a Bimmer instead of a honda.
I wanted to roll down my window and yell at him but instead I blew his doors off.
I'm not even sure he tried I was so far ahead by the time I hit 50.

Now I know those badges add alot of horsepower...but...

Another funny thing about 3 series is when people drive agressively in "320i".

I mean what the hell is that even a bimmer? no HID and steel rims? LOL

you mean 323i or 318i. I think it is funny as hell when little rich kids driving around in a 318i coupe thinking it's a sports car and fast as hell. then I dust then and laugh, but they never learn. but putting M3 badging on a 3 series peiod is gay!

Funny that you say this. I saw I guy in a Dodge Intrepid the other day that had Viper in the place of Intrepid. I was laughing my ass off. I looked at him and then laugh right to his face. Its just funny what some people will do.

Yep. I was coming to a red light and noticed the green Prizm in the left turn lane. Then I saw the blue and white propeller emblem on the trunk lid and the "M" sign on the right side. I was at a loss for words. It was two young guys with the hats on sideways and actin' all hard.

Maybe only Canada got 320i last year. I think they were trying to get rid of old chassis and parts just in time for redesigned 06. It sold at $35000CDN, no HID, steel rims about same price as TSX in Canada.

318i seem to have short wheelbase than rest of 3 series. 323i or 325i ain't match to TL neither. I dusted couple stock to stock.

Wow I didn't know they made M3 with 15" Rims!

THE TURBONATOR Nice job in putting this guy in his place.

Posers... I love it when they try to flex and then proceed to get their doors blown off. Most anyone who knows a little something about cars can tell when a car just has badges. I have seen people in V6 Mustangs put GT badges and even go so far as to put a GT rear bumper on a V6 mustang (Pre 05 model). The rear bumper has two little curves for the dual exhaust tips to come through, but on the V6 there is only one exhaust tip and its not even the same shape as the GT tip. It looks so f*cked up. Then my suspicions are confirmed when I hear the engine...definetely a stock V6.

As for the BMW drivers, I agree. Most of these people think that just because its a Bimmer that they are some high powered car that can smoke almost everyone on the road. Most of the Bimmers I see are 325's or less. *yawn*. When the try to challenge me I just laugh. When they start to be a*holes about it I let them have it.

Viper badges on an Intrepid? M3 badges on a 323? BMW badges on a GEO? :ghey: :ghey: :ghey:

there is absolutly nothing worse than a V6 Mustang thats riced up with some wannabe bass ass kid at the wheel. Except maybe the 3rd gen Mits Eclispe that everyone bought..all those lame ass GS with tin can exhausts...or no badge...when you know its not the GSX or GST ...theres like nine in my neighborhood cause I live near a highschool.

but hey there really are so many ridiculous modded cars out there...we should all enjoy them and the smile they bring.

M3 is pretty hard to forge. you need new front side fenders for grill and exhaust tips on center of couse that means new bumper too.

It's not like forging mustang GT to SVT which requires some cobra badge and spoiler and can fool most people's eyes. I've seen a guy made regular 01 SVT to Cobra R with that huge spoiler.

I used to have V6 stang convertible and only real difference with GT was dual exhaust and fog lights(average joe wouldn't know only GT gets fog lights by the way). I even saw someone done dual exhaust on V6 stang. why don't people just get a real V8 instead of spending $5000 trying to make look like one.

I find debadging 3 series is funny. It's usually 318/320/323/325 cars doing them. I see a 325i running around with custom bodykit in city. sure.. with 18x horsepower. It looks like BMW has got 323i back for 07 model year in Canada. It will be another interesting game running around those things.
