after turning off the traction control, i floored the gas pedal. the tires spun like crazy. now my problem is that the malfunction indicator came on flashing for about 30 sec. then it was gone. did anyone of you guys ever had that happen to you? and do you know what it means in my situation. i know its about emission violation. thats what the manual tells me. but whats the real effect on the engine or any other system? i appreciate your answers.

 

If you search forums deeply, tons of ppl have experienced the similar issue. MIL On. Emission? Maybe. Well, you may have to check with your dealer soon.
