Can you also compare the TL? Have you driven in it at all? Can you feel the extra horsepower?
The TL and the G35 are universally admired and respected on this forum. Nobody knocks that wonderful car and engine although some folks like me would like to see them improve the interior.

If you would only refer Black and Silver and dont mind about the tough maintanance issues found on Black, I would vote for Black. I saw the silver one in the service area and to be honest with you, it does looks very hot!
I originally go with the black but after checking the Anthracite out in person, I picked the Anthracite. This Anthracite color is getting popular even with other cars!

And yes, i have driven the new tl. Power wise, i felt no difference compared to the TL-S. Maybe because the new TL is heavier than the TL-S was. Handling definetely improved as well as suspension. The new TL doesnt have the loose feeling that i had when driving the TL-S. It feels alot more stable.
Before I got my G, i was seriously considering the new TL because I love the styling and I'm an acura lover. I would have gotten a black TL 6 speed w/ navi. I decided to get the G because its overall performance is better in my opinion. The handling in my G reminds me of the handling in my cousin's M3. (mayhe not as good, but similar) The car is also rear wheel drive so i dont have to worry about torque steer. I didn't get to drive a 6 speed TL but i'm assuming its somewhat similar to a 6 speed CL-S (which i have driven). I felt alot of torque steer in the 6 speed cl-s but its not all the bad...it was still bearable. I'm also young so i wanted a more "sporty" type of car. It's honestly just personal preference. They are both very nice cars. Like i always say, if i were comparing a g35 sedan to the TL, i'd get the TL in a heartbeat. Sure performance is better in the g sedan, but the TL is 10 times better looking inside and out. The G coupe on the other hand is simply beautiful and i'd take it over the TL anyday.
So ya, sorry i couldnt give a more in-depth comparison, but i'm kinda tired of comparing the two

you have made a grave mistake, not enough water from niagria falls to keep that clean, your car on the planet pluto would still be hot..ohh well i have yet to see one black tl look even close to as good as mine, sure the one with the pimped out chrome 20"s is ok but who is kidding who.. the one in hawaii sure takes some senic pixs but lets face it, its the scenery...and why have i not seen one black tl on any acura commercals? you know why...silver is the best
Could have saved you a lot of trouble if I'd only seen your post earlier...in the choice between Silver or Black there can be only one answer................Redondo Red with Ebony interior !!!!!!
Not Black...I had an 02 TL-S, ABP, which I traded for a new Black Lexus GS300 SportsDesign. As much as I like Black when it is clean, it is too challenging for me to keep clean. My son has a silver Acura CL and his car seldoms get washed ( college student ), but it always looks clean. My next car will most likely be silver or another ABP, but it definitley will not be black. To each his/her own, I suppose!
You know I had a lot of agonizing doubts when I chose black over silver!!!
But now after I received my beautiful Nighthawk, it’s clear in my mind that I made the right and ONLY logical choice. BLACK yes baby BLACK.
Nothing is more CLASSY, FANCY, more IMPOSING and MAJESTIC than BLACK especially on the new 04TL!!!!
You guys can say what ever you want … NIGHTHAWK IS AWESOME

My black TL wasn't any hotter than any other car. The interior heat, I believe, is more dependent on the interior color than the exterior. The metal is well insulated. Our windows are factory tinted with about 80% green tint that cuts way back on heat (more than light).
You northern folks assume that because Florida is warm in the winter, it must be hot as  Hell in the summer. Not so.
Triple digit temperatures have never been seen in South Florida. The all time record in recorded history is 99.Can you say the same for Chicago, Boston, New York? In a word: No.

Just being anal. I have almost as much fun washing/detailing this car as I do driving it.
More than 50% of all cars you see on the road are Silver ...
Soooo not original !!! other than having a car that looks clean when it's not... not much more.
NPB is the BEST!

Probably the same reason most cars in Florida are white. :o There's a lot of purchasing agents for large rental and utility fleets who pick white because it is "uniform" and non-contraversial. It also offers a little more (minutely) gas mileage because it is reflective and the A/C compressor doesn't work as hard as in colored cars. Silver has many of the same attributes.
I think it's not so much about loving silver or white as it is not hating them. I don't hate them. Nobody does. If I got one or the other, I wouldn't have to worry about anyone not liking my (absence of) color. They have good value at the car auctions vis a vis wilder colors because of this safety factor.
So you either let your heart pick your car color or you let your head. I still have some passion so I let my heart pick
. I got Black with Camel. It's like chocolate and butterscotch. Not vanilla.

As noted, black takes more care. But, I have always kept my cars clean, and the most recent one, a sliver 350Z, got washed about once a week. My NBP is also being washed about once a week, so what's the big deal? IMO the black looks just super when it's clean, and I would not change colors at all.
