black or carbon fiber??? what would look better?

 

damn, you all making me want to get this done... Ordered my Vinyl just now, lol. Don't know how they gonna look on my whip...

 

glossy black. It goes with the glass of the sunroof best.

 

My car has the roof painted black, saw another white Tl near it from the train tracks(elevated)...i tought mine looked better

 

excuse the rookie question but what the hell is "ABP, WDP, NBP" etc..? are these color's or something?

I did a gloss black overlay this past weekend. Then I found this thread. I personally think it looks great. And if you don't have the cash to pay for paint, you can't go wrong with Vinyl. Its cheaper, and if you end up not liking it personally, you can always remove it. Plus it protects the paint underneath it from the elements so if you do remove it, the paint will still look pristine underneath.

BTW, be careful that you don't purchase the 3m Dinoc carbon fiber if you plan on putting it on your roof. It is not recommended for automotive use, and definately not for automotive exterior use.

and wats wrong with the 3m CF dinoc? Will it just not withstand outdoor elements?

i wanted to black the roof or carbon fiber .....also was trying to find a carbon fiber hood ....didn't know if i wanted to do the trunk also was undecided on that ...but definitely wanted to take all the symbols off the trunk except for the A.........alot of plans for that TL alot of plans.........
