Black on black interior...does it get hot?

The dealer told me that Acura Tl's come with heat blocking windows.
Do the windows really work?

If you have a Night hawk Black exterior with black interior, does it get unbearably hot with a lot of sun?

Thanks...

I don't have to wait for summer to tell you NBP/ebony is gonna get hotter than  in the summer. But that didn't stop me and it gets 100+ here...

I have black on black also. Live in VA so it can get pretty hot. Today it was about 92 outside. When I got back to my car, I had forgotten to put my sunshade out. It was not that bad though. Did not have a crisp butt and the A/C kicked in pretty quickly. Also, as I walked to my car, I did use the window down/sunroof open feature of the key fob. I don't think it gets hotter than any other color. Used to have light colored leather in my last car, it still got toasty in the sun...

A black car with black interior will not get hotter than any other colors, but it will heat up faster than any other colors.

If you like the black on black look, I would say go for it….. As a NBP owner all I say is just make sure you keep half a day each weekend clear to clean your car. And I do mean every week.

It may be a little hotter, but what's the difference between 100 degrees and 102 degrees

I suppose it will get hotter, but don't know since we really haven't hit the middle of summer yet. I heard about the heat blocking windows and hope that it will help. I also purchased a heat shield and did notice reduced interior temperature when I use it. Just got to remember to keep the moon roof closed when I park the car out in the sun light.

I had a blk/blk '95 Legend LS Coupe 6-speed and a '99 Caddy STS. Neither got hot enough to send me screaming.

What do you have to worry about the inside getting hot? Just remotely open all windows before going inside the car!
