As I posted in another thread, I was going to wait. And if I wasn't going to wait, I was gong to get a great price. Well, forget it. I have the will-power of a 3 year old. So I am now the proud owner of a new TL.

I can't believe how fast these things are selling. You never believe the salesman when they try to tell you so they can keep the price high. But when I was at the dealer Monday they had 3 cars in the color I wanted. Today they had none. Actually, it's my wife that has a problem with the color. We got the Anthracite/Ebony and she wanted the Silver or the White. Personally, I like the Anthracite. But I sure with they'd call it something else. I keep calling it Anthrax.

The price was OK, but not great at $33,786. That's for the 5AT w/NAV and all-season floor mats, splash guards and wheel locks. It was about $250 more than I wanted to spend, but really, how can you argue about such a small difference?

Now I have to wait. The salesman is going to drive it to my house in another hour or so. Then I'll drive him back to the dealer. Then, who knows where I'll end up tonight

Congrats!!! Welcome to the club. You will love the Anthracite and you got a pretty good price considering it includes the NAV and the all weather floormats! Enjoy the car...hehe, I am finding it impossible not to!
