Best Contrast B/T....

Parchment and Camel against the NBP for the exterior? As far as int. goes, in general which one looks better in contrast with the wood grain that's there? And lastly with the Navi system which color (Parchment or Camel) has a better contrast with the Navi system when looking at certain displays on the screen as far as the ground indication and the outline of the map/route, etc... I think that part has been discussed before b/c i remember seeing it somewhere but can't seem to find it.

This would really help me out a lot since i have yet to be able to sit inside of a car w/ Camel int.

Camel on NBP looks great!!! Parchment is a nice color, but IMO a bit sterile. The camel pops against whatever color it's against... It's definitely got a 'European' look to it.... Of the 4 interior choices available, if I had to do it all over again, I'd DEFINITELY go with the camel again

erok72... thanks for your input regarding this topic for me. So i'm assuming you have the Camel since you said if you had to do it all over again, you would go with the Camel again, so let me ask you this... Does it have that "orangy" tint or color to it that people up here claim? Again i haven't had to priviledge of sitting in one YET, so i wouldn't know. Thanks again

Big time fan of the Camel .. I have RRP with Camel and really like the contrast. I agree with erok ... And no, I don't think the Camel is Orange at all.

The parchment is too light, nice color .. no pop!

I think the Camel on the Red Pearl looks pretty nice, has a red velvet cake look to it.

Does this help? It's not "orangy" in the least.

Actually it helps a lot. So the dealership where i'm looking at purchasing from has my 05TL NBP/Camel/Navi/AT on hold for me.

Mod edit: Snip-Snip (duplicate posting)

You are cross-posting in two different threads.

That's against the rules. Pick one or the other. Better yet, I'll pick. Your color stuff will stay here but the price will be in the other thread. I will delete your duplicate posting above.

ac2001,

Yup... I've got AM/Camel and I couldn't be happier. (Actually, if they offered the camel in DWP.. Now that would make me happy.... But I digress ).

The camel looks like a richer parchment.... To me, it's what parchment wants to be when it grows up. Nothing against parchment, a nice color, just a little too dull for me.
I also think that the wood/aluminum accents with the camel interior complement it perfectly.

I'm sure you'll be happy, no matter what color combo you get, you're getting a TL for crying out loud....

Good luck!!!

I've got an '05 Antracite/Camel. When I requested this color from the dealership, they warned me that most people do not like Camel with Antracite or NBP as it is too much of a contrast. They also warned that it might be hard to find a Anthracite/Camel combo (luckily they did have 1 on the lot). However, I haven't had a single person get in the car that has not immediately complemented how attractive the contrast of the 2 colors is. I could not be happier with the choice. It reminds me of the color of a baseball glove if that helps at all.
Good Luck!

I'm going to stand up for Parchment! I love the parchment. The Camel is nice, but Parchment being brighter looks SWEEEEET against a black exterior.

It's all subjective obviously, but to me, parchment looks the best with every color the offer except anthracite.

It has a rich to it like the similar color used in Mercedes SL's. The contrast vs. dark colors is awesome. If they had parchment offered with the blue I would have gotten that immediately. I just couldn't do black, so I went dead opposite with WDP/parchment.

The very 1st Camels produced at the beginning of the '04 model year did look orangy, however Acura fixed that quickly.

Here's my Camel with added plood (plastic wood) pics. Colors are accurate.

All-

Thanks a lot guys for all your comments. So yea it's definitely final as far as my color choice. Definitely going with the NBP/Camel! I love it too much. When i actually first saw the contrast of it in 04 when they introduced the new model i knew right then if i were ever to get one, it would definitely be NBP/Camel. I just love the euro. look to it, as my Dad has an S430 w/ Black/Camel. SWEEEET!!!

Xpditor-

Sorry for the duplicate post, i wasn't aware that you couldn't do it. I definitely know from now on. I guess i just should have stuck with the color issue here and not go into the other details as i did. Thanks for telling me!
