I replaced my girls side engine mount for her 2008 Honda civic with this name brand and it was terrible !

The day after installation there was a horrible vibration that would not go away because of the way that thing was manufactured.

But, that was a civic and this is a TL tho..but based on that experience for me...

I'd stick to OEM for the mounts or those aftermarket XLR8 ones .

well you cant necessarily blame the mount for not fixing the problem without more diagnosis.
did changing to an oem mount immediately eliminate the vibrations?

I would most defiantly stick with oem unless you do solid xlr8 or innovative. I replaced mine on my accord v6 with DEA and that was the worst thing ever. Vibrations were crazy. I felt with that for 5 months then went back to oem. There is a parts store on ebay called neillo acura, and they sell oem mounts. I bought a new front one part numbered for 07-08 acura tl for $108. I actually picked it up from that dealer because I live 10 miles away. Will say once I switched back to oem, vibrations were non existent.

hmm interesting. I figured it being just a piece of rubber with some fluids inside(for the hydraulic ones)... shouldnt be that hard to make.

On the TL the front and rear are hydraulic and vacuum controlled. side engine mount and transmission mounts are just pure rubber
