I am having a hard time identifying this bumper... is it a base or type s? I know its not a type s color but for some reason it looks like a 07-08 type s to me.

you can tell if it is a base or type s by the way the fog lights curve.
if the fog lights curve towards the front of the bumper, it is a base.

if the fog lights curve towards the wheels, its a type-s.
cant see the curve in the pic, but i believe its a base.

Looks like base, type-s will have honey comb design in lower grills, those look like up & down, side to side design to me. Though hard telling exactly.

the color looks like oem navy blue that was made in 07 and they dont make type s in that color so im saying base also.

 

Type s has honeycomb grills, base has the slotted line grills. Type S has chrome trim, base has matte silver. Type s fogs are angled downward, base angles upward

That being said, I guarantee you that's a base bumper
