Looks like the Deluxe Plus pads are a good replacement. Thoughts?

Thanks for the link. As for the comment on "small ass automatics".....thhhhhhhhhpt!

6MTers already have Brembo brakes, it's about time someone stepped up to the plate to offer something for us more sporting 5AT types.

To neuronbob and donte99tl: will these pads REALLY make that big of a difference that you guys want them that badly?

I didn't say I wanted them, I just said it was nice for 5ATers to finally have the option. Do they make that big a difference? I'd love to see some objective data before I plunk down dinero. Axxis pads have a pretty good rep, though...

Yes, good pads make a noticable difference. I've tried Axxis before on other cars and they worked great. The downside is lots of brake dust

Hey, us 6MT drivers can still buy the upgraded rear pads for our cars, the rear brakes are the same as the 5AT

He meant people that "have" the 5AT types.

I would like to try the brakes, but I am not a fan of brake dust.... I hate that.. Such a pain in the ass to clean all the time.

I thought that the Axxis Deluxe Plus pads are nearly dust free. The Axxis Ultimates are pretty dusty, but no worse than stock.

The pads for the 2004 TL (5AT) is the same as any other TL model year since 1999.
