This car is great for all ages, but IMO 25-30 is the perfect age, if you are 16 or even 19 and driving this car, you are one lucky individual, I am 23 and I wish this was the first car I ever drove. My first car was a 94ish ford taurus wagon which I wrecked, LOL. I will be honored when I find my 3G TL at my price. I want 15k cash for it, im still looking. But this car is great for all ages.

Does anyone know what the average age of 3G TL owners is ? Something tells me it's between 40 and 50, based on the # of "older" TL drivers I usually see.

i'm also curious to hear what some of you guys do for a living, especially the younger crowd. if you've worked hard to earn this car on your own, i definately give a lot of props to you!

Great thanks for the replys guys sorry if this question was asked wrong where the other thread is but with all the talk about this car I was really questioning just what the ave age was looks like its all over the age gap. maybe this is where the older drivers and the younger ones have comm ground and can talk about somthing that both can understand and love.

as stated in my frist post purchased the car for wife 48 and I am also 48 and just love this car lots of fun to drive and my car is a caddy DTS that is also an 05 but have more fun driving the TL

The majority of people I see driving TLs are middle-aged men. I guess young people are just more likely to join a forum that's why it seems like there are so many young TL owners but there actually aren't in the real world.

Yeah & they do stuff like this too.

I am afraid a lot of you guys confuse being over 40 with being dead. Its all about your attitude toward life & many guys are veggies before they even turn 20.

There is a lot to do in life that is fun as long as you remain curious about what is going on around you.

On the survey; since most likely a lot less the 1% of the TL owners come here its not really statistically valid. I would expect most of the TL owners are between 30 & 50. Also for those who are older the TL is probably a second or third car so they are not so attached to it as some here are.

Actually the poll result will tell you very little (if anything) about the average age of TL owners. What is really tells you is the average age of AcuraZine respondents.

I only say that because the poll only addresses a small part of the Acura buying public - and most of the people here are not "ordinary" buyers; they're enthusiasts, fanatics even, not soccer moms.

My *guess* is that the target segment and average buyer is 28 - 35 with a young family (married, 1 or 2 younger children (and a dog )), own their own home and make $60k - $100k per year. OR as a 2nd or 3rd car for older couples with higher incomes.
