hey guys i been a memeber for along time, but never really posted before in the racing stories.... but today i had a good run, and thought i would share. I was coming home on 91 and i was behind this audi. never saw one on the road before. this car looks mean and really agressive. so we are both in the center lane cruising at 65, so i decide to drop into 3rd and pass... as i figured he got on it as well i then decided to really punch it and just kept going, was wide open highway so i was up to about 115 then we shut it down. i was ahead the entire time, about half a car, now im not sure if he was not going full throtle or what, but i checked out that car tonight and its a beast. so i was impressed with my new car if he was trying oh ya i have a 07 tl-s manual. so what you guys think ? was he holding back

He has more than 100 horsepower over you..lol. What do you think?

 

Indeed, he probably did not want to go over the top but, it could easily pull from any speed on the TL-S be it 5AT or 6MT.

 

He was just keeping up with you, or using you as speedtrap bait.
Nice run though.

 

13s car vs 14s car....he probably shifted at 6000rpm or something instead of 8000....

 

I'm guessing he was short shifting and trying to keep up, otherwise by 115 he should have been a car ahead, if you got the jump.

 

They actually do that?
