Attention: The TL I'm doing pressure switches on tomorrow...

Mods, please leave this open until noon tomorrow I hate to do this but I have no other option and I don't want to screw this guy over.

I'm supposed to do pressure switches and some other work in the morning for a member here, I can't remember the username and my 11th Droid just took a shit this time it nearly burned my face.

I don't have a contact number, no voicemails to check, and no PMs on here. If that member could PM me his number so we can still do this thing tomorrow, that would be great. I have another cell phone number.

I guess if this gets closed right away he should still be able to see it. Sorry in advance.

It probably wouldn't hurt to lock this, it will still be toward the top tomorrow. I should have given the address ahead of time.

Unfortunately it wasn't me, but you're only about 5 hours from me, if you need a substitute to work on , I'm there.

Lol. I don't mind helping out, I work for free when I have the time. Probably going to do the timing belt and valve adjustment soon, anyone who wants to do theirs is welcome, I can show how to do it and help out.

Free? Wanna do my 105k service?

I'll leave it at 8AM and expect it to be done no later than 10AM sharp. Or I'm filing a complaint.

Thats a great offer. I just found Majofo's excellent diy thread on that, and would not be comfortable trying that on my own. Fortunately, I'm only at 55,000, so I shouldn't have to worry about it for a while :knocks on wood:

On another note, why'd ya get rid of your avi?

Technically you would have to do it in 1 year (2013). Even then your TL was made in (technically) in 05. So you are due in a few months.

Yeah unfortunately. Problem with plastic belts. I don't know why Acura doesn't use metal timing belts.

The TSX does have a timing chain.

Ugh. Why can't you live closer Matt! I need to do the Timing Belt, P.S. O-ring, valve adjustment, pressure switches & ATF.

I might as well just get a new car

I could swear I read a thread where they basically came to the conclusion the 7 year thing was a myth. Or at least there is nothing in the owners manual to back up that claim. Not saying that they don't degrade just from time but I think you can go longer than 7 years and be safe, I wouldn't go past ten though.
