Attempting Aspec Rear on 2005 TL & No moldmarkings to drilling on OEM bumper. Why?

I'm attempting full Aspec lip kit on my 2005 NBP. I started with the rear lip but after removing the bumper I noticed there are no markings on the back of the full factory bumper from the plastic molding process to let me know where to drill (without measuring manually at least). Has anyone else encountered this?

I have an 05 too, the marks are there you have to look hard to find then and drill the bottoms not the top ones.

Ok, ill give it a try after work.

Maybe I'll have to clean it really well to be able to see them. There is a slight "film" of dirt over the entire surface but I didnt think it was enough to cause lack of a visual.

Thanks though for the confirmation that they are indeed there on '05's. I'll report back with my findings.

Yeah they are there, it's just hard to see them. Clean it up and find them in a well lit room.

I dont remember having to remove the back bumper to put the kit on. I guess it was because I had my car on a lift at my friends shop and didnt need to take off the bumper. But yeah the marks are there. A couple of cross hair marks you have to look for carefully. Good luck on the install. I think it took me and my buddy about 2 hrs for the whole install with a little shooting the breeze and downing some beer.

just remember they're the SMALLER circles, not the bigger ones....
the bigger circle markings are meant for backup sensors.....

Talking

Got the rear and side skirts done! It went well, but very time consuming. Onto the front this weekend after I install my Angel Eyes and Switchback LED's.

I'm curious how does the car look with just the rear and the sideskirts but with the stock front? Does it still flow well or does it odd?

I think its definately odd looking. Having front and rear but no side skirts is fine, or having just a front lip is fine, but just a rear and no front doesnt look right. Doesnt flow for whatever reason.

BTW, I figure since I'll have the front of the car off I might as well paint the upper grill too. If you all have any recommendations let me know. T-Minus 5 hours and counting till I start diggin in!
